Josh has over 20 years of experience in commercial infrastructure investment, corporate finance, and business development with an emphasis on U.S. and Latin American port and maritime industries.
Currently, Josh is the founder of Strategic Port Advisors, providing advisory services to clients on long-term infrastructure strategies in a world of increasing uncertainty due to climate change. Previously, he led maritime development projects in the US and Latin America for investors and operating companies, including at the Port of Oakland. He is passionate about ensuring the Bay Area’s lands are resilient to a changing climate and helping address the shortage of housing for its people.
A native of the U.S., he is fluent in Spanish and has traveled, lived, and worked extensively throughout Latin America. Joshua holds a B.A. in Latin American Studies from Wesleyan University and an M.A. from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
