Previously, Jake was the chair of the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District Advisory Committee, the Russian River Watershed Association, and the North Coast Resource Partnership; he was the vice-chair of the Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit Board and two-time chair of the Sonoma County Transportation Authority, and the Sonoma County Water Advisory Committee. Most recently, Jake was appointed me to the North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board by Governor Newsom.
In 2019, Jake received the Greenbelt Alliance Champion Award for his commitment to helping the organization shape the rules that govern growth—protecting the region’s open spaces and ensuring neighborhoods within cities and towns are amazing places for everyone.
