Meet Andrew

As the State and Regional Resilience Associate, Andrew supports regional and statewide land use and housing initiatives for a more climate resilient and affordable future for California.

Andrew (he/him) brings diverse experience in advocacy, research, and nonprofit work to his role at Greenbelt Alliance, with a focus on the intersection of environmental justice and human rights. He has contributed to global and local initiatives through the United Nations and various NGOs, working in France, Saudi Arabia, and Thailand. His work spans climate resiliency planning, migration and displacement research, and human rights advocacy, including tailored strategies to address environmental and social injustices. An advocate for grassroots organizing, Andrew is passionate about empowering frontline communities and advancing equitable responses to global challenges.

A Bay Area native born and raised in Milpitas and San Jose, Andrew holds a Master’s degree in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action from Sciences Po Paris and a B.A. in International Politics from UC San Diego. In his free time, he enjoys backpacking and collecting records from his favorite artists.
