Sarah (she/her) enjoys managing and leading programmatic, operational and fundraising initiatives that result in compelling communications, financial sustainability, and impactful climate solutions that improve people’s quality of life, connection to nature, and ecosystem health.
Sarah brings prior experience planning and implementing climate mitigation and adaptation solutions for the World Bank in Washington, D.C., and a regional nonprofit, Metropolitan Planning Council (MPC). While at MPC, Sarah managed environmental planning efforts in stormwater management and climate resilience including equitable community engagement to inform the Great Rivers Chicago long-range plan for Chicago’s 150 miles of riverfront, and the design of StormStore, an innovative market-based solution to address chronic urban flooding.
Sarah holds a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish from Colgate University and an M.P.P concentrating on environmental policy from The University of Maryland School of Public Policy. A native of Chicago, now calling the Bay Area home, she enjoys hiking (Mori Point is a favorite), experimenting with new vegetarian recipes, and walking the beach or giving naturalist tours at the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve.
