Update: We’re excited that voters in Oakland, Berkeley, Richmond, Alameda, San Pablo, El Cerrito, Albany, Emeryville, and Piedmont approved Measure FF in November 2018!
The measure will provide an additional 20 years of funding for East Bay parks without any new taxes. This money will be dedicated to supporting public safety, wildfire prevention, and healthy forests; managing park infrastructure and maintenance; and providing both environmental stewardship and habitat protections. Measure FF was approved unanimously by the EBRPD’s board of directors on June 5, 2018, and will provide $3.3 million annually for East Bay parks by preserving an existing parcel tax of $12/year.
