With just a week to go before the election, we’re taking a look at two Bay Area ballot measures: one in Richmond and one in San Ramon. In each case, voters are being asked to consider how they want their cities to look. The decisions they make at the polls could affect those communities for generations.

Update: Measure S didn’t reach enough support to boost investment in public parks in Pleasant Hill. By just a few votes, it didn’t get the required 2/3s of the vote (66.67).
A majority of voters (53%) endorsed Measure II in Dublin, authorizing the expansion of the Urban Limit Line established in 2014 and jeopardizing open spaces.
