The Brothers Comatose join the Bluegrass for the Greenbelt lineup

Local up-and-coming bluegrass outfit The Brothers Comatose was formed by the Morrison brothers (naturally), guitarist Ben and banjoist Alex. Together with high school buddies Joe Pacini on mandolin and Gio Benedetti on bass, they started off as a quartet playing the San Francisco bar scene. After posting an ad in the halls of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, they found fiddler Philip Brezina to form The Brothers Comatose.

They have since performed at such legendary venues as the Fillmore, Great American Music Hall, and Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival, and with such acts as The Devil Makes Three, Justin Townes Earl, Hillstomp, Greensky Bluegrass, John Doe and the Sadies, and Yonder Mountain String Band.

The Brothers Comatose are currently touring to promote their debut album, Songs From the Stoop, and have just been added to the Bluegrass for the Greenbelt lineup. Join us on June 4th to experience the “foot-stomping, shout-along” good time that their show promises to deliver!
