John Fisher interned with Greenbelt Alliance this summer and brought both a keen intellect and a great sense of humor to our Compact Development and Livable Communities Outreach Teams.
An Urban Studies student at Brown University, John spent the summer vetting the Downtown Berkeley Plan, (Measure R on the November ballot), the Ohlone development in San Jose, and other development proposals. He also assisted with the analysis of potential development sites in the Broadway-Valdez Specific Plan. Not to be typecast as only urban planner, John used photojournalism background to complete a photography project on Marin County for our Communications Department.
We are sorry to see John’s summer come to an end, but we know he will continue to excel at Brown and beyond.
Thanks, John!
