Meet Team Greenbelt Alliance. This year we are privileged to have 12 riders representing Greenbelt Alliance on Climate Ride 2012. Between Aug. 29 and Sept. 8, we’ll profile each of the riders (in their own words) on Team Greenbelt Alliance. As some of you already know, early next month, I am riding over 320 miles with other members of the Greenbelt Alliance family in order to raise funds and awareness for Greenbelt Alliance.
We will ride from Fortuna to the Golden Gate Bridge, joining the annual California Climate Ride, which brings together riders who are committed to help support over a dozen organizations interested in sustainable solutions and bike advocacy.
For over 50 years, G.A. has been helping preserve open space and improve the Bay Area by protecting open space, pushing for transit-oriented development, and improving quality of life in the urban core.
I am willing to take action and help resolve our serious sustainability issues, BUT I NEED YOUR HELP!
