Ann Hamilton

Meet Ann

As Greenbelt Alliance’s North Bay Resilience Manager, Ann collaborates with North Bay partners to build a community vision in wildfire resilience, greenbelt stewardship, and equitable housing solutions to support the implementation of climate-smart conservation strategies across the region.

Ann has a unique background in consulting and public health. She has worked as a consultant on fire resiliency issues with land stewardship organizations and affordable housing issues with City and County units as well as citizen advocacy groups. Prior to that, as a full-time Department Analyst for Sonoma County, she worked across six different departments convening cross-functional teams to launch projects and grants across government agencies, municipal emergency response teams, nonprofit organizations, and community stakeholders.

Originally an Oakland native, Ann graduated from UC Berkeley and then migrated to the smaller towns of the north bay over 15 years ago living in Boonville, Occidental and Sebastopol. She has a deep network of connections in Sonoma and Mendocino County.

When not at work, Ann can be found making music with her band, The Stake Are Low, river rafting with her family or working with teens in the Ceres Community Garden.
