Report on Land Use in Sonoma County
Greenbelt Alliance is very excited to announce the release of a new report that
examines the past, present, and future of land use in Sonoma County. The report,
Preventing Sprawl: Farmers and Environmentalists Working Together, is the result
of a joint effort by Greenbelt Alliance and the Sonoma County Farm Bureau.

On March 2, Bay Area residents voted on several ballot measures that
impact open space conservation, farmland protection, and future development.

Public Comment on Vacaville's Lagoon Valley
The City of Vacaville has released the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR)
for development of Lagoon Valley. Now it's time for concerned citizens to comment
on the report.

Help protect the San Mateo County coast! Please attend this important meeting
in Half Moon Bay to voice your support for the Coastside Protection Program.

Housing Event: Wednesday, March 27th
Pittsburg Better Together is organizing an Action Forum to inform community residents
about housing issues and rights on Sat. March 27, from 1-3pm.

The Communications Director will develop, articulate, and implement Greenbelt
Alliance’s communications strategy including media relations, message development,
publications, web and email strategy, and marketing.
