View an amazing shoreline open space that few would imagine even exists on San Pablo Bay in Richmond. Preview a planned three-mile San Francisco Bay Trail loop between Wildcat and San Pablo Creeks. Although only half of this trail has been completed and opened to the public, West County Landfill is giving Greenbelt Alliance a special opportunity to walk the entire three-mile loop. You will be the among the first to walk this Bay Trail segment adjacent to the huge Wildcat and San Pablo Creek tidal marshes and along San Pablo Bay's shoreline where there will be an abundance of migratory water fowl and spectacular vistas overlooking Point San Pablo and San Pablo Bay.

Bring lunch, liquids, and well-fitting boots. Meet at the Sunol Visitor Center. Directions: Take Hwy 680 to the Calaveras Rd exit in Sunol. Turn south on Calaveras Rd to Geary Rd. following signs to Sunol Regional Wilderness. Go left on Geary to the park entrance.
