Magnificent Maguire Peaks
This moderately paced hike to Maguire Peaks offers spectacular views of San Antonio reservoir, Mt. Diablo, and Mission Peak. Maguire Peaks are composed of fossiliferous sandstone from an ancient inland sea that covered the Bay area 15 million years ago. The sea is gone, but be prepared for cold winds and mud.
