Directions to the San Francisco Office

Greenbelt Alliance's San Francisco Office is located at 631 Howard Street, Suite 510. We are located on the south side of the street where New Montgomery terminates onto Howard. The parking lot at 2nd & Howard charges $2.50/20 minutes with an $18 maximum. Less expensive parking can be found on 3rd Street between Folsom and Howard.

From the North Bay:
Public Transit:
Take Golden Gate Transit Bus 10, 20, 60, 70, or 80 to 2nd Street and Folsom. Walk north to the next stoplight (1 large block), to Howard. Turn left and walk to Hawthorne (half of a large block).

Driving: (and avoiding downtown)
Take 101S (Lombard) as it goes into San Francisco. Turn right onto Gough Street. Take Gough to Grove Street and make a left. Grove ends at Hyde Street; turn right on Hyde and cross Market Street (Hyde becomes 8th Street). Go three large blocks and turn left onto Folsom. Take Folsom to 2nd Street; turn left on 2nd and park at the lot on the corner of 2nd Street and Howard. We're just a few doors down at 631 Howard Street in the Howard-Hawthorne building.

From the East Bay:
Public Transit:
- BART: Take a San Francisco train to the Montgomery stop. Take the "Post, Montgomery, and Market Street" exit, then follow New Montgomery south of Market. New Montgomery ends at Howard Street; the office of Greenbelt Alliance is across the street in the Howard-Hawthorne building.

- AC Transit to the Transbay Terminal in SF: You can walk to the office from here—it is about a 5-minute walk (go south to Howard, make a right and walk to New Montgomery).

Driving:
From the Bay Bridge, take the Fremont Street exit. At the first light, turn left onto Howard Street. We are located in the Howard-Hawthorne Building at 631 Howard Street.

From the South Bay:
Public Transit:
Take CalTrain to San Francisco. Take the 30 or 45 Muni Bus and get off at 3rd Street and Howard. Walk one block toward Embarcadero (east) to the intersection of Howard and New Montgomery.

Driving:
Take 101 North to Fourth Street toward Embarcadero. Take a slight left onto Bryant Street. Turn left onto 2nd Street. Turn left onto Howard Street. We are located in the Howard-Hawthorne Building at 631 Howard Street.
